Intelligent faith
It is my belief that through a process of logical, practical, pragmatic and scientifically valid arguments a basis can be developed for an intelligent faith in the existance of a Causer of our existance.
We are created as human beings and as such our faith should and must be based on intelligent reasoning. A belief system should have a basis to provide morality, and meaning to life whose outworking is able to account for what we instinctively know to be true.
The only reason why intelligent has been appended to faith is because people have tended to dissociate intelligent reasoning from faith, to the contrary, faith by nature consists of conscious intelligent weighing of arguments inorder to arrive to a valid conclusion on a specific subject.
The Bible calls for such faith (intelligent faith) i.e Isiah 1:18 Come now let us reason together.
Faith in God does not negate the intellect, to the contrary it resonates with all intelligent reasoning.

Practical philosophy
Philosophy has become a field were people indulge in discussions that have no value to practical life, especially if we are to consider the amount of application of the mental faculties that is expanded in arguing over terminology instead of solving the issue at hand. The definition of philosophy is itself subject to many, varied and complex permutations that do not add value to the field of study.
The techniques of philosophy would eliminate most of the practical benefits derived from science, engineering and technology if they were applied in those fields today. Philosophy has developed to a intangible, connceptually incoherent and useless field of study with no benefits to everyday life. This is undoubtedly not the essence of true philosophy, even in the more abstract things of life we use common sense and practical reasoning to come to conclusions.
Philosophy in essence should provide and solidify the knowledge frameworks of everyday life permutations, adding value to humanity.
